Psychedelic Integration

Through accessing the deeper layers of the psyche and forming new neural pathways, non-ordinary states of consciousness may lead to long-lasting changes both in the ways we think and in the ways we feel. Psychedelics, especially when explored therapeutically, can open us to new insights and understandings about ourselves, our relationships, and the very nature of life itself. Expanded states of awareness can help heal our deepest wounds when explored with support, safety, awareness, and intention.

Integration has an essential part to play in reaping the benefits of this transformational work.

Integration is the art of incorporating challenging lessons, insights, and new perspectives into your everyday existence. It may be difficult to make sense of the expansiveness and immensity of non-ordinary states of consciousness, or harness the insights for personal transformation. With guidance and support, one may more easily find clarity, purpose, and meaning.

Making sense of a psychedelic experience, harvesting the insights and gifts that have been given, and putting into daily practice lessons learned are all aspects of integration. With a grounded spirituality, rooted in the here and now, I can support you in the transformational work of integration.

Through this work I can support you to:

  • Decide if microdosing might be supportive for you

  • Identify if psychedelic-assisted therapy is suitable for you and, if so, support you to connect with the appropriate therapist

  • Prepare for a psychedelic experience, including identifying areas you want to focus on, discussing expectations, and setting intentions.

  • Integrate and reflect on a psychedelic journey you’ve experienced through examining valuable insights, incorporating key insights into action steps, creating accountability for change, and setting intentions for further explorations.

  • Work through the emotional impact of any challenging or traumatic material that may have arisen through a psychedelic experience.

  • Bring insight gained from psychedelic experiences into counselling sessions, deepening the inner work you are doing.

Please check out my psychedelic resource page here for journal articles, books, and videos related to psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Reaching out for support can be daunting, and my intention is to make the process as easeful as possible. My practice is at capacity, however from time to time there are openings. Please add your name to my waitlist if you’d like to pursue working together. When there is an opening, I will reach out to book a time for a free 15-minute consultation.

“Perhaps the greatest gift expanded states of consciousness offer is the opportunity to reconnect with the aspect of our self that is always already whole. Beyond the wounds and belief systems exists an original, essential being. This is the self that remains unscathed, wise, and healthy despite all we have endured.”
